What makes your jewellery special?
We love jewellery. We would like every piece of our jewellery to be something that you can treasure and keep for a lifetime. This is why we try and ensure that we sell only the highest quality jewellery and go to great lengths to ensure that every piece we send out meets our exacting standards. Every piece of jewellery we post out is inspected individually for flaws and only items that pass this get sent out.
Where does your jewellery come from?Back to top
We get our jewellery from a number of different sources, ranging from large jewellery manufacturers who also supply some of the big department stores to small designers working on their own. At the moment most of our jewellery comes from British sources (apart from some that comes from Paris) and we prefer to buy locally ourselves as a more ethical and environmentally friendly option.
Do you support British jewellery designers?Back to top
It is important to us as well to support local jewellery makers and artisans, this is why we are very pleased to announce our Labour of Love collection which is entirely made up of jewellery pieces individually made by British artists and designers. A lot of our other sterling silver jewellery is also from British companies, but, if you want to be completely sure that a piece of jewellery was entirely designed and produced in the UK, we suggest there is no better way than buying handmade. Besides, it's so much more romantic as well.
Fresh Purple is entirely based in the UK so we're a British company too!
How do you keep your prices competitive?Back to top
You might notice that our jewellery sells for much less than an equivalent piece on the High Street. We are able to do this, firstly because we spend a lot of time and effort finding the best value items and getting the best deals possible from our suppliers, and secondly because by selling only on the internet we are able to avoid many of the expenses associated with running a High Street shop. All these savings are then passed onto you, the customer, in our lower pricing. If you do find an equivalent jewellery piece for sale elsewhere for less than our shop, then by all means contact us and we will see if we can match the price.
How can I be sure that your jewellery is genuine?Back to top
You mean apart from the fact that we're honest, lovely people who promise you that all the jewellery we sell is authentic sterling silver or gold-plated and contains real semi-precious gemstones? Seriously though, we do realise that many people have reservations about buying things on the internet, and purchasing something as personal as jewellery can be difficult when you haven't seen the item in person (and clearly, most of you have never met us either). This is why we offer a no quibbles 28 day money-back guarantee on all our items (except for the earrings - for hygiene reasons we are unable to do this - fortunately most of our earrings are relatively inexpensive and we have made a special effort to make the photos as true to life as possible) so you are free to return them during this period for any reason whatsoever - including just not liking the colour or style. We even offer a helpful guide on how to tell real from fake gold and silver and if you look in our gemstone section you will also see information on individual gemstones that will help you be confident that they are authentic. If you do feel that some product information we have provided is not accurate, we would ask you to let us know as well so we can investigate it further.
If you have any other questions, why not give us a call?
